This is a rare opportunity to hear Dr. Sweet present an abbreviated version of his successful “Sweet Sales” seminar. This interactive, high energy, dynamic session will show you how to control the sales process by doing the following:

• Shifting your mind set
• Learning the soft skills that control sales
• Controlling the sales process
• Messaging for better closing

Dr. Sweet will also present “10 Time management hints for sales people” to help you learn how to make the best use of your time regardless of whether you are a professional salesperson or just a busy person.

By the end of the session you will have a number of tried-and-true techniques that you can apply immediately. These techniques are not theoretical, but rather proven techniques that work in Japan as well as the rest of the world. This event will be of particular interest to:
• Business Owners and Entrepreneurs

• Anyone who would like to learn how to increase his/her chances for success.

Our speaker this month, Dr. Sweet, started selling when he was 8 years old. Since then, he has navigated the bureaucratic and political mazes of the U.S. Government and spent a decade working in Asia. In Japan, he started practicing the important mental disciplines of karate and marathon running—a combination that has become a good defense mechanism in case of a poor sales call. He is a respected keynote speaker, seminar leader, and author who seldom finds the need to pull out his black belt or run out of sales meetings. Dr. Sweet holds a Ph.D. in Leadership Development and a Master’s degree in Language and Communications. He is also the author of Sweet Sales and Recruit! Becoming the Top Biller. Currently, Dr. Sweet is a Senior Manager with the executive search firm, the Specialized Group K.K. in Tokyo.

"JMEC is now accepting applications for our fifteenth year! The Japan
Market Expansion Competition (JMEC) is a business training program centered
on a competition to write the best business plan. It brings together highly
motivated, up-and-coming executives willing to challenge themselves through
a business plan competition with companies who want to enter into or expand

JMEC will be holding information sessions for those interested in
